Simone Eisler is known for her mixed media doll artworks she calls Harbingers.  They are often seen as foretellers, subtle warnings or announcers of change.

Working with a child's doll you will use experimental techniques and materials to transform it into a mixed media harbinger.  

Learn how to build new form onto an existing shape, explore plaster bandage casting techniques to create body attachments and headgear, and work with natural and found materials to embellish the final form.  

Simone Eisler is a local artist with a national and international profile whose sculptural, public art and multimedia practice encompasses the concept of transformation in nature and human society.

Her themes of garden, species evolution and family history represent change through journeying, cross pollination and adaption.
